Procuro compreender as perguntas”.

Technical Question on Feedback
Feedback is an act of communication, but its dynamics is strongly based on a “game of perceptions.” Are diverse sensations and feelings that feedback causes. Obviously if we have an upsurge of emotional influences is normal that logic and common sense is impaired.
And for being tied to a remark about a work is always the feeling of intrusion. The feeling of concern arises: “Does not delighted, with my action”? “What does he want this time?” “Because he only realizes when error”?
Environment conducive to “defenses”, rationalizations and blockages that hinder a better understanding of the feedback action. It’s a huge loss as you lose the use of one of the most important resources for development.
Therefore some techniques can help us to manage the environment and lead the process for the best result. And now we want to introduce is the “technical question”. You know that, often, for the discovery of truth the question is more important than the answer.
A phrase ascribed to Confucius says: “I do not seek to know the answers. Seek to understand the questions. ” In short using the question as a resource to manage the environment and driving feedback is exemplary efficiency. The question, if placed amicably leads to the dialogue and to a settlement of the tensions. Before that dialogue becomes dispute.
For reasons we will divide the teaching practice in question feedback in three stages:
The first stage of the technique is that of recognition, when we seek to position the fact.
Even though we have a lot of information is important to start with questions like:
– “What happened?” , “How is the situation?”, Always giving space to the other explained. Seek first to understand the situation and only then understand how the shift happened.
We do not even push too hard. Questions such as these lead to open. Many problems can be solved at this stage when we allow the expression and understanding.
Ask! Watch for more information. Listen. Whenever there is more opportunity to give information when it appears. If it was not clear at this stage will go next.
The next stage is exploratory, when we try to understand in more depth looking even know the origin of the problem. On the issue of feedback is critical to understand what caused the deviation, because work is needed to resolve the origin. Otherwise the possibility of repeating the problem increases greatly.
A powerful question in this phase is: “WHY?”. This simple question has enormous power to bring out the reasons, motives, origins of the fact. Provoking a reflection on the whole process of action. At this stage it is common to realize the facts that caused the deviations from the target page.
Yes because it is not the answer, “Why yes.” This response is only allowed mothers to small children, very small. It is perhaps even more so.
The interesting question “Why” is that it can be repeated several times without being repetitive. It is only exploratory. What happened to that? Why do you think that? Why would you think that would work? Make search. Will help you to understand and will allow the other to think about new issues.
At this stage we also use a feature that helps to significantly lighten the meaning of communication. It is the repetition of the phrase spoken by another, even with different words. It is the feature “paraphrase” the interlocutor. Repeat what was said to generate reflection. For example: “Do you mean that …..” or, “You’re saying that he thought he would not ….”
This action allows the individual to improve self perception. Transforms it into a spectator of himself, and thus often allows you to correct the misinterpretation or even not aware until that moment. The next phase should be directed to the action of reorientation.
This third phase we call Conclusively, because it will be so. There is no rhetoric guidelines derived from feedback. We have to be objective and practical way to really clarify the function Reorienting feedback.
It is essential to clarify all points starting with the concern of the leadership in guiding the best way. It is the exercise of the function. All subordinates must have a clear awareness that feedback is a mandatory action management. Remember that the action of feedback is an “action accomplice”! All are in the same boat looking for the best result!
Define the orientation and analyze the deviation as a function of learning and development are substantial gains of the feedback process. Not only the solution set. Enjoy working for the reasons that led to the diversion. Also learn a lot from the failures (or even more).
Enjoy the best possible action your Feedback. Realized that you can use the right questions to guide the process?
